Kathryn Morgan, M.Ed., NCC, LPC

Kathryn is passionate about helping you walk
through the difficult situations life brings your
way. Her style is a combination of
compassionate support, genuineness, and
encouragement and she is committed to
walking with children, individuals, couples,
and families through life’s challenges and
difficulties.

Kathryn received her Master’s Degree in
Counseling from the University of North
Texas and has worked with individuals in a
variety of settings. Her clinical experience
includes working with children, adolescents,
individuals, families, and couples with a
variety of presenting concerns including
PTSD, trauma and abuse recovery, grief,
depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide and
homicide, relationship difficulties, parenting
concerns, family conflict, Christian counseling,
and spiritual concerns. Kathryn has worked in
many different settings including an inpatient
psychiatric hospital, community agencies, and
private practice and uses a variety of therapy
techniques including talk therapy, play and
activity therapy, and sandtray therapy to help
clients heal from difficult life situations.

Kathryn is an approved provider of Cognitive
Processing Therapy for the treatment of
PTSD.  This is a short term, effective approach
to providing healing and relief from
symptoms of PTSD.

She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor
Supervisor and offers off site supervision to
LPC Interns in the state of Texas.

Kathryn currently takes Aetna and BCBS
insurance.
